My 1st blanket is a double faced fleece patchwork blanket a perfect baby gift to be cherished for many years  and the Abstractuk robe the design is based on a Moroccan Djellaba.

At Abstract we have created our own version of this practical garment.  Made in 100% polyester polar fleece in a selection of colours offering a modern twist to this classic garment. Our Djellaba design has a hood with contrast tassel and seam trims, long roomy body for curling up in with useful side pockets. The closed front offers a cosy, practical and comfortable alternative to the traditional open dressing gown.

Djellaba is a long, loose-fitting outer garment with full sleeves worn in the Northwest Africa and in Arabic-speaking countries along the Mediterranean. Traditionally made of wool with a hood called a "cob" it is both vital and of practical importance  protecting the wearer against the sun, desert winds and cold nights.
